Hi everyone! My name is Denise Ippolito, I’m an architect, a teacher and a professional specialized in Virtual Design.
I’m interested in everything related to food: from the raw materials to the food packaging, from cooking good dishes to studying catering architectures.
I want to say that I haven’t taken a kitchen class so my recipes are born from the experience maturated day by day in the kitchen, reading books and culinary magazines and finally from the passion that I put when I cook something.
I have always loved to cook since I was child, I helped my mother when she prepared cakes. In my opinion, the most important aspect about cooking is rapresented by the dedication that you put in the creation of dishes that will be consumed by people who are close to you and you love deeply. I belive that it isn’t important the complexity of the dish that you will bring on the table, but the exact execution of the same. For example a simple plate of “spaghetti with tomatoes sauce” could produce a “satisfaction of the senses” if it is prepared in the correct way.
Then it’s foundamental cooking well, but it’s equally important to know foods that will be prepared; so it’s significant to buy products of quality.In fact, a good percentage in the success of the dish is given by the genuineness of food bought.
In my website you will find ideas about the elaboration of tradicional or internationals recipes, there is a section dedicated to the “Sicilian foods” that is a section which includes Sicilian recipes and Sicilian alimentary products, while in the section called “International recipe” you could try recipes about famous foreign dishes. Instead in the sections called “Food design” there are my drawings of catering architectures and ideas about food design.
